Im about to graduate with a B.S. in Finance from a respected university (Lehigh). My gpa is good, however, people have been telling me that my crappy credit report is going to prevent me from getting a job period. If that’s the case, what can I do? I’ve paid most of them off; but the fact is, at one point they were negative delinquencies.

I am currently senior with a 3.5 GPA. I have recently added on a second major in Latin American & Studies because I find the Latin American culture very fascinating. Plus, I have noticed that businesses in Brazil and Mexico are starting to grow. Alongside with my primary major is in finance, I wanted to know what type of job I can find that involves both studies. Also what are the avg starting salary for these jobs?

Ok, so there is this special program called the Academy of Finance at my school. To get in, I have to take a bunch of regular 4.0 business electives, but if I do take the courses, I get a summer internship to a prestigious company and Co-Op in my senior year. However, it will lower my GPA significantly and my chances of becoming valedictorian or saluatorian will be ruined.But, there is a cool summer internship that goes with it and that experience is something unique to put on a resume. Or, should I forget about the Academy of Finance and just take a few business electives here and there?

I am preparing to graduate college in may of 2008 and I am wondering what a 1st year finance major can expect there first year out. I have a 3+ GPA and I want to become and investment banker, any suggestions would be welcomed. My area of finance is corporate finance.
