My husband has a car loan that until the last two months he paid on time. I am not on the loan. He was in a car accident with his buddy leaving softball practice. (No alcohol was involved) My husband sustained substantial injuries and is now in a rehabilitation program to regain certain mobilities after a 6 week stay in the hospital. He is temporarily living at the facility that provides the rehab. He is receiving a small workmans comp check but it is not even close to what he made weekly. I work but due to his injuries I have to miss time to meet with physicians and the like. I have explained the situation to the finance company over and over but they continue to call. If I could afford an attorney I would hire one to help but I cant. How can I get these people to stop calling me. It is 10 am and they have called three times already!
I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling. Apparently it falls on deaf ears!

10 years ago I defaulted on a car loan, and still owe the finance company $7000, which I’m planning on paying now. Can the finance company take my tax return, or only if I owe FEDERAL AGENCIES?
The case went to court, and I was in another state at the time, so judgment was awarded to the finance company.
