What is the difference between a finance major and an economics major? Is there any?

    Economics is more wide in scope. i.e. a Finance major studies a lot of accounting, and microeconomics, while an Economics major studies Macroeconomics, and more theoretical concepts. But, often graduates of either degree find jobs with banks.
