It’s pretty much basic maths in the accounting and finance degree im taking. addition, subtraction, percentages, averages etc. There are also variations to the degree, so if you don’t like the idea of the maths, then you could do a more business management based degree, which in my university had the same 1st year courses but meant less maths in the 2nd and 3rd year.

You do not need to be a genius in math to pursue a degree in finance or accounting. I have a degree in finance with minor in economics. Make sure the field you choose is interesting to you. I liked finance because of the stock market and real estate. If you are interested in something, it will be much easier.
PS Accounting was easy but way too boring for me.
Tip: A degree will always help you to get a better job - a way to weed out those who do not have a degree. You can actually do anything with your life.
